Kiss Me Again Into Fever

Today I want to share a poem I wrote with you.

KISS ME AGAIN INTO FEVER

And so I sat amid the lilies
Loving their fragrance and perceiving the beauty of their bloom
My mind took a leap like a playful deer
Prancing amidst the meadow, here and there
Off it went trotting away in joyful thoughts
Bosom heaving with each soft breath
Dainty feet at ankles crossed
The memory, the remembrance of that soft kiss
Stolen about a fortnight ago

His hair was raven black
His arms a pure delight of manly strength
His lips, unabashed in their greed
As he reduced me to shivers
Oh, hasten to me, my love
Kiss me again into fever.
